Autocare Service Center

Had a fantastic experience. The guy at the front talked to me for a good bit about my VW rabbit, and gave me some advice. Very knowledgeable but also they didn’t treat me any differently which was amazing (as a woman often I get treated like I don’t know cars and they were not like that at all!) Would definitely go back!

Larry and the other guys are great. genuinely friendly. Very pleased and would recommend them to family and friends. I had my inspection and emission test. They had me in and out, awesome job guys.

Larry was very kind and patient in explaining information about my car. The service was also much quicker than I had expected, which is always a plus! The team seems very friendly!

Stumbled on to what may have been one of the best kept secrets in York, PA! This is significant as I choose the Autocare Center because it was the only “preferred/certified” repair shop by my warranty company (Endurance) of 7 years in my area! I was absolutely devasted when Larry, the owner, had to relay the news that even after having to tear down and test drive my vehicle twice (2nd time for the Inspector Endurance sent to confirm) denied my claim after over a week in the shop even though all were in agreement that based on my contract, the repair should be covered. There’s no coincidence that just the part alone (prop drive shaft) cost about $2800 (quoted from area Cadillac/GMC Dealerships). Larry was very apologetic, patience, and allowed me to explore other, more economical, but just as, or even better alternatives without pressuring me to remove the car and/or be compensated for the time he and his technicians have spent thus far. He has over 40 years of experience and literally gave me a “master’s class” in understanding. In conclusion, my car is back on the road, drives even better than before the failed part, all for about $500 bucks…. which included a brand-new drive shaf

It’s a little scary to switch mechanics, but if you are in need of a new one, try this place for sure. My experience here was fantastic. They were so friendly to me and I trusted their experience and expertise. The price for the service was amazing as well. I was in search of a new garage to take my car to and they made it so easy to schedule the appointment and get my car serviced. This is my service center going forward.
